The news I have for you is different. But I want you to be prepared that when bringing your frustrations regarding parents to Jesus Christ, there is a great likelihood that you will be faced with an invitation by his holy and ever-cheerful majesty into a heart surgery for your own self instead of hearing promises to heal your broken parents. The reason for this is far bigger than one might expect and leads down into the root of the matter of this life’s great dilemma. The problem is not the snake or the venom because the problem is the reaction to the snake and the venom. The healing that Jesus wants to give is an upgrade. He wants to remove the stone heart in you that was flesh but hardened, condemn your pride so that you know he hates what has been abusing you, and graft you into the true vine so that you will be nourished, continually on his love for you. I know that you’re struggling against spiritual slavery, but you’ve been in a fight against Satan, spiritually speaking. And, it’s just that you haven’t asked God for help, yet. But asking for God’s help leads to a change so dramatic that is, in fact, a victory and not assistance in a spiritual battle. After the victory, then you’ll be trained on warfare for the express purpose of teaching you what authority means and what it means in the natural world that, with God, you have authority over life’s conditions. About that though, you will have a personal foundation and a beginning way through which God will have you, personally, walk in power. And you’re going to need to take some time and talk to him before jumping into miracles. A great question is, “How do I do this? Teach me.” But I warn everyone against serving personal prescriptions to others. You are unique and so are your prescriptions. And the part of your interactions with Jesus that is transferable to others is only the part where you started talking and you listened to Jesus until the time comes when you will have a gift, a you specific gift, to give and share with others, but it’ll be something you give. And likely, you will be selective with the few you give it to, lest they become confused and spin away by trying to reject virtue instead of responding with maturity enough to embrace and to desire virtue for themselves. For me, separation anxiety delayed by trusting God’s love as something that I could keep, forever. Learning from God can feel scary before you trust him because the lack of trust lies about the conditions within the foundation of the relationship as being a fragile set of highwires in the wind with a resentful god trying to spit people away from him. That’s Satan and not God. Satan is trying to kill us. If you can see evil in it’s pure form, it proves the existence of God by the restraints placed upon pure hateful destruction that blindly seeks to kill anything related to life, like water, seeds, roots, and leaves. A conscious being determines where evil will go and stop. And it is that being who took precious time to knit each one of us together, with the eternal longevity within his loving embrace. He also likes talking to us. He talks a lot to keep us alive and healthy. But he also asks questions, a lot. And that’s where trust will lead to joy. If you’ll trust that his love is unconditional and therefore eternal, then when you let him near enough to your heart, you’ll learn that he is listening with a cherishing drawing near and nearer in celebration of how wonderful a gift he gave himself by making you, and everyone, so that he’s inspiring opportunities for himself to hear your responses because he is enthralled with you. You are so loved. It is not God who is hurting you. But also, it’s not as much your parents or society, either. It’s a seed. Implanted inside of you and all of us, is a seed that is tiny, itsy-bitsy, and pure evil: pride. This is a voice and sensation of humiliation, frustration against love and charity, drive that is curiously addicted to a challenge. This is what is suppressing the personality that loves being alive in a freedom of justified love with an understanding about being kind and gaining friendships. Your personality is God made but also made in God’s image. This is a big reason why salvation is necessary because the thing about holiness is that it knows it’s 100% powerful and that means that it can’t become inspired to kill anything out of a feeling of being offended, it’s too impenetrable. When the pride hits and beats the personality, inside us, the part of us that is made in God’s image is not experiencing any pain whatsoever so it cannot retaliate in defense. Instead, it’s like an adult gorilla being hit by a baby: it cannot register the offense because it was not harmed. It was barely hit. At worst, it was concerned about the well-being of the upset thing that is throwing a temper-tantrum, but will respond by trying harder to take care of the one throwing a temper-tantrum. It cannot imagine being hated because that’s not really in his or her vocabulary because it’s a struggle to hate living things. It’s inspired to compassion. This is why the personality made in God’s image needs help from God. God wants to affirm his child’s powerful strength and compassion to all things and under all attacks. And to validate his child, he wants himself to kill the pride, thereby judging everything the pride ever said against the personality, especially when the pride called the personality made in God’s image an embarrassment that needed to go away so that it could “freely” devote all attention to earning the sound of a clapping audience. The concept that God is not proud of you is from the pride because the nature of the pride is to reject freely giving things as humiliating (God’s love is in that category) in exchange for inventing ways to earn the rights to things, which would prevent anything from coming into accumulation by gift. Do you see, yet, why the pride can’t see the kingdom of God? It’s allergic to the kingdom of God because the kingdom of God is all free stuff that too abundant for the pride to find a way to trim down God’s gifts into loan-sized gifts. So, the pride looks at God’s heaven and screams in horror, “Oh, the humiliation! No on will applaud me if I accept this much provision!” The personality that is made in God’s image thinks the pride makes no sense, because the one made in God’s image is going to like food in exchange for hunger and health in exchange for sickness and love in exchange for hatred. But this personality needs God’s help to get the personality free. But you are not meant to “concur” your pride: it’s meant to die, not being “managed” or redeemed because it doesn’t want to be redeemed. It needs to die, violently; this is the first death. If you let it, it will happen in a spiritual space where your mind can perceive. I encourage you to let God reveal how irredeemable that thing is, inside. Let God reveal to you how much it hates you and how much it hates God. Let God reveal to you it’s true interests so that you can decide if you’re in agreement with finding something to subdue rather than eating and sleeping. Let God prepare you for the judgement against the pride. Let him comfort you. Choose to trust in him, even when his presence feels at a distance or cold, letting faith grow into a knowing that is assured like gravity; he’s always there for you. Put your vote in against pride and in favor of Jesus Christ as your help. Let the Holy Spirit kill that prideful thing, dead. Let it scream and beg for mercy while joy fills your heart for being saved by one who also likes eating food, and the one who invented food, and the one who feeds by replication when there’s not enough money. Choose the one who is trustworthy. Choose the one who loves you. Choose the one who likes having nice things: heaven is a splendor because beauty is good. After the death of your pride, yoked with Jesus Christ, grafted into the true vine, breathed into until the living water becomes a new normal, you’ll be a childlike humble freedom of self to receive all the love and inheritance that is rightfully gifted to a child of God. And then, eternity will be easy to love living out. And growing will continue. And increasing in love and joy will occur. You’re not going to grow fast. And you’re not going to get lessons, early. But you will know who will are, as a living personality, known to your conscious self from the end of eternal lessons before walking through each lesson and experience, becoming as unchanging as God. I know what it is I’m saying. And it’s more than you can image, so hope. You will have God justified freedom to be yourself. You will have a God secured life. You will have a God-made heaven, inside your heart. And you will have no reputation to speak of, unless he gives you that, too. And then you’ll probably need to talk to him about how to discourage people from worshipping you or ask him for blessings to ignore the fans who say the worst kinds of celebratory inflaming boasts about your prestige because they want to believe that they can love you enough to eat of heaven, continually, through you all while hating God, simultaneously, which is not a great plan and will lead those fans into starvation, leading to addictions for want as a state of existing in endless desire in exchange for satisfaction that comes from virtue. In the death of the pride are the things a person is seeking to have: love, acceptance, self-understanding, spiritual strength, and freedom in the world, as well as freedom in the self to be unhindered/unbound/unafraid of a sensation called potential humiliation. But time will not make this happen for you. God can and wants to make this happen for you. But he’s not interested in hurting you. And he’s not interested in depriving you of your season of exploring evil. You have as much time as you need, until a certain day when he says it’s time to choose. But you can choose, early. You don’t have to go through the entire list of evil opportunities. You can tell God that you’re ready to choose him and be safe. Your parents can’t in any measure do this for you. This conversation about your heart’s condition and your personality’s freedom is one you’re having with God. God is the solution if you like love, joy, food, etc. Hell is dust because that’s the devil’s greatest desire. Do you like dust as much as Satan likes dust? For forever? And ever? Dust, that’s what evil desires because that’s the most deadness one can live in. Dust and pain are the devil’s favorite things, and he is trying to share his toys with you. Take a moment and look at his favorite things. Are they really sure you want to have his favorite things, too? If his favorite things are not your favorite things, then you get to see what God’s idea of blessing is for a living being. If you’re desires are more like God’s desires, you’ll likely to be better suited for heaven rather than hell. The option is securely protected by God. The devil is evil, and he doesn’t respect personal boundaries. God is good and deeply values your desires. God is 100% open. If you are looking at your life and it’s not fun, God will ask if there’s anything else you want to do, away from him. Or anything else you’d like to see. If you’re sure that there’s nothing good, anywhere else, it’s a great time to go with God. He loves you more than anyone who has ever loved you, even the people who really did love you with the fullness of their human heart and expressed that love, selflessly. He loves you, more.
